Za vožnju biciklom ovom rutom potrebno je imati mtb(brdski)bicikli- Ruta je cijelom površinom pokrevena makadamom. Motornog prometa gotovo da i nema, osim lokalnog stanovništva koje obrađule maslinike. Maslinarstvo na otoka Hvaru ima dugu tradiciju još od antičkih vremena o čemu svjedoče brojni arheološki ostaci po otoku.
A mountain bike is needed for this route. It is covered with macadam all the way, and there is virtually no motor traffic, apart from local people going to tend their olives. Olive cultivation has a long tradition on Hvar, streching back to ancient times, as evidenced by many archaeological remains around the island.
Für diese Route wird ein Mountainbike benötigt. Der Weg ist durchwegs Schotterstraße. Es gibt praktisch keinen Autoverkehr, abgesehen von den Einheimischen, die ihre Olivengärten bewirtschaften. Der Olivenanbau hat auf Hvar eine lange Tradition, die bis in die Antike zurückreicht, wie zahlreiche archäologische Überreste auf der Insel belegen.
„Put maslina“ nalazi se u području južno od sela Brusje, a počinje kod spomenika na znameniti Viški boj (1866.g.) pa do iznad Malog Grablja, te povratno izlazi na cestu kod predjelja Dućino.
The „olive path“ is in the area south oft he village Brusje. It starts by the monument tot he famous battle of Vis (1866), passes above the village of Malo Grablje, and then returns on the road near the region of Dućino.
Der „Olivenweg“ befindet sich südlich des Dorfes Brusje. Er beginnt am Denkmal der berühmten Schlacht von Vis (1866), führt über das Dorf Malo Grablje und kehrt dann zur Straße in der Nähe der Region Dućino zurück.
Područje sela Brusja i V. Grablja je uglavnom krševiti brdski reljef. Međutim, skoro je cijeli taj krševiti teren kroz stoljeća iskrčen i kutiviran kao agrarni krajolik. Čovjek je ovdje krčio šumu i razbijao kamen, slagao ga u gomile, nasipao zemlju u stvorene ograde i tako stvarao parcele zemlje za sadnju vinove loze, masline i drugih životno potrebnih kultura. Odlate specifičnost agrarnog krajolika bruškog i grabaljskog područja s arhitekturom kamenih gomila koje ispunjavaju ovaj pejzaž.
The area around the villages of Brusje and Velo Grablje is mainly craggy rocky hills. However, over centuries the whole of this stony terrain has been cleared and turned into agricultural land for cultivation. Here man has cut down trees, broken up stones to create tidy stone mounds as boundaries within which earth was spread, so that in this way plots of land were formed for planting vines, olives and other crops needed to sustain life. This is how the particular of fields around Brusje and Grablje came inot being, with the stone mounds which characterize the landscape.
Das Gebiet um die Dörfer Brusje und Velo Grablje besteht hauptsächlich aus schroffen Felshügeln. Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte wurde jedoch das gesamte steinige Gelände gerodet und in landwirtschaftliche Nutzflächen umgewandelt. Hier hat der Mensch Bäume gefällt, Steine zerbrochen, um saubere Steinhügel als Grenzen zu schaffen, innerhalb derer er Erde aufbrachte, sodass Parzellen für den Anbau von Wein, Oliven und anderen Feldfrüchten entstanden, die zum Erhalt des Lebens benötigt wurden. So entstand die Eigenart der Felder um Brusje und Grablje, die mit ihren Steinhaufen die Landschaft prägen.
Upravo kroz takav tipični krajolik sa lijepim vidicima vodi „Put maslina“ kroz i danas održavanje maslinike koji potvrđuju dugu agrarnu povijest otoka i u čijoj se ljepoti i hladovini može odmariti i provesti ugodne trenutke boravka na našem otoku Hvaru.
The „olive path“ leads a across just such a typical area, with splendid views. The olive groves it passes through are still maintained to this day, confirming the long-standing history of agriculture on the island. Der „Olivenweg“ führt durch ein so typisches Gebiet mit herrlichen Ausblicken. Die Olivenhaine, durch die es geht, werden bis heute gepflegt, was die lange Geschichte der Landwirtschaft auf der Insel bestätigt. Man kann sich im kühlen Schatten dieser schönen Bäume ausruhen und die Freuden unserer schönen Insel genießen.

Die Kilometrierung beginnt in Brusje.
Ova ruta je specifična zbog svog završetka. Naime, izlazi na glavnu cestu i spaja se sa cikloturističkom rutom br. 1 (Hvar – Brusje – Velo Grablje) kod predjela zvanog Dučino. Najniža točka na ruti – Brusje (310 m) Najviša točka na ruti – izlaz na gl. cestu Dučino (400 m).
Diese Route ist aufgrund ihrer Streckenführung spezifisch. Sie erreicht nämlich die Hauptstraße und verbindet sich mit der Radroute Nr. 1 (Hvar – Brusje – Velo Grablje) in der Gegend namens Dučino. Der tiefste Punkt der Route – Brusje (310 m). Höchster Punkt auf der Route – Ausfahrt auf die Hauptstraße bei Dučino (400 m).
U grmlju iza ploče nalazi se trim (BR-TR-13).
